Mónica R. Alonzo has dedicated her life to the service of others. At just 13 years old, her father tragically passed away and Mónica was forced to step up and help her mother care for and support her 10 siblings. And for the last 20 years, Mónica has been fighting for stronger neighborhoods and new opportunities in West Dallas. But recently, city hall has forgotten about District 6, crime is on the rise, properties are left to rot, and critical city services like trash collection are delayed if they ever come at all.

 

Mónica will get back to basics; she will stand up for us and make city hall listen, improve services, clean up our streets and alleys, help reduce crime, and ensure new developments are a good fit for our vibrant West Dallas neighborhoods.
